It had been two and a half years since the last Writer's Block, and I had some recordings sitting around, so I threw this together and out into the world. I recorded "Fictional Environment Dream" playing along with the original. I recorded "Careful" with the built-in mic on my Zoom recorder, which happened to be plugged into my computer at that moment. "Ambitious" is the only recording I've released from a 2023 attempt to re-record every song from Wire's 80s period (snakedrill/ideal copy/a bell is a cup/ibtaba). I finished 11 other songs, including new versions of songs I'd already covered, but the only other one I would ever consider releasing is "A Serious of Snakes". The other ones I finished just weren't that good.
