Wow, I made a real racket on this one. Right off the bat, I take one of my favorite songs, "One Machine, One Long Fight" from my favorite Lou Barlow album and turn it into a chainsaw. I don't remember what compelled me to do that, especially since it's not the only time here I do that. There are acoustic guitars in the outro but they're completely drowned out by the feedback. "The Princes of Suburbia" is a Cleaners From Venus tune that I loved and wanted to dress up a little. I'm positive the way I play it here is not how Martin plays it on the recording. That's fine. I bet none of you have ever heard "In the Image of Youth". If I'm wrong, great. I was super into Lives Of Angels in early 2019 and this was my favorite song of theirs. It still is. I can't believe I nailed the falsetto. Even now that I've concluded I'm female (or something) I don't ever try to sing like this. I guess I didn't do much then either. I messed up the drums in "Ark 2" but I definitely nailed the ending, where it just cuts off right in the next song. "The Beast Falls Down" really sticks out on here. Soft and slick keyboard pads with no noise or distortion anywhere. Go home and put on Gringo by Circus Devils. Now. "Mountain" almost works really well but I tried to keep the kick going the whole time and I think the drums suffer for it, but ultimately I think it's still a job well done.
