Hello Whirled was a proper quartet. It was early January 2023. We decided to record 4 songs in the TCNJ recording studio for 2 reasons: to test the facilitaties before recording an album there (which we did), and to submit as a demo of sorts for Julia's War (hahahahahahaha). Why the laughter? Well, the very day we recorded this, Doug posted on the JWar insta that he was going to take fewer artist submissions in the future, or something like that. I forget what exactly he said. I definitely underestimated how big a deal that label already was. As such, this exists more as a curiosity than anything. As far as curiosities go, it's pretty good. More than anything, I'm glad there's a really good recording of the band version of "World Beater", which we played faster and with a bit more venom.
