Oh hey, it's the only HW release that isn't free. Why is that? Well, there are a few reasons. 1. Bandcamp only lets you set up the "buy discography" option if something you've released is at least $1. So, something had to be not free. I picked this. Why? 2. This is the worst HW release. I made it $20 to discourage people from listening to it. It's a capture of the worst HW concert, minus the breaking strings, amplifier volume spikes, and abandoned songs. I remember putting the full unedited audio on Soundcloud at some point. I could not tell you where that is, and if I ever find it, I'll still never publicize it because why would you want that? I wrote all of this before even listening to the EP again. The performance itself means nothing.
Now that I'm actually listening to it...yeah I still don't like this. My singing is okay but there's really no reason to listen to this. Also my memories of the night itself are so bad that, even if the recording sounded better, I still wouldn't be happy with it. When I started Hello Whirled, one of the hard rules was that I wasn't allowed to delete anything once it went up. Some of these live recordings make me tempted to break that rule, or at least make them fan-club exclusives. The main reason I haven't is that, really, I don't care all that much.
