Finally, the first release of 2022! I started the year by agreeing to make an album for an actual label, Repeating Cloud, so I tried to keep my output to a minimum while waiting for the album to come out. Why was this, a bunch of instrumentals largely electronic in nature, the first one to drop? No idea. I think I was getting jittery not having put out anything all year, and these ideas weren't really going to go anywhere else. A bunch of the sounds come courtesy of the Korg Minilogue XD, a synth my friend let me borrow for a while. I barely used it. I realized pretty quickly that I didn't like using it to make synth sounds. My journey to find synths I'm really happy with is a never-ending one, although the Roland S-1 gets pretty close. Also the Casio SK-1 is great but that's an entirely different conversation.
