5 outtakes from Open Casket Beach, 5 outtakes from Only Mostly There. "High Functioning Inadequacy" had a cool intro, so I recorded over it on my digital Portastudio and got "A Living Room In My Head" out of it. "Swan Cave" quickly turned into "Puzzle Piece", one of my favorite HW songs from the pre-Reaper era (2016-2019). The reason for the change is directly related to Open Casket Beach's status as the first HW double album, so I'll wait to go into all that until I'm writing that post. "Sky Puppy (Demo)" is merely the first version of the song, which I had planned to send to someone I was almost dating at the time. They said the recording was too messy and they weren't sure how to fit their parts in, so I rerecorded it with much less going on and it landed on the album. Again, more on that later. "Just Forever" maybe could have landed on Open Casket Beach if I hadn't dimed the reverb knobs on every track. "Star Crossed Lovers" and "Epilogue" were originally one song, but I made the last bit its own song. I don't know why, because the whole thing was terrible so it's not like any of it had a shot of making it onto Only Mostly There.
