This EP marks the death of the "2 EPs then an album" schedule I had decided on. The one I recorded before this was intended to be a split, but we didn't agree to cancel it until after this and Wreckage had been released. "Valentine" and "Her Face All Red" were new versions of pre-HW songs. "Astronomy" is a Tommy Keene cover, the first of two times in 2017 where I covered a song by someone who died later that year. Eerie. I don't hate this EP but the songs I really like on here, "(Onto A) New Home" and "Her Face All Red" were both re-recorded on future releases. Come to think of it, "Valentine" and "Astronomy" also popped up on future releases. I never made the connection only "Bless The Midwife", a throwaway, and "Cheongsam", a ballad that perhaps could have, or should have, been more tasteful, were the only songs that remain exclusive to this 6-song EP. That's probably neater than the EP itself. Oh well.
