The first show of 2025. Me on vocals and guitar, and a former coworker on drums. They have a name but for now let's call them J. In 2024, they played drums with me at the Interzone (NJ basement). Our set was going to be a tiny little secret set but another band dropped so, one day before the show, I said "hey here's 5 new songs, they're gonna be on 50 Songs" and J said "okay". I don't remember the set super well but it was probably fine. 1 year later they played drums with me at the same venue as last time, performing 4 new songs from Sex With God. A history worth repeating? The recording itself is okay. No bass, a common theme in 2025. Not what I had in mind but it's how things had to be and that's okay. Its clarity is probably its strongest attribute. My guitar tone comes courtesy of an old Unixox amp at full volume. I didn't know it could crunch like that! It still crackles when you play it, but it works I guess. That amp is all over 50 Songs and Momentum but we're not there yet. Not a whole lot else to say about this one.
