This is the silliest Hello Whirled release. Nothing else even comes close. This came about as a collaboration with a friend of mine (who did the cover art) where we re-imagined some of....ok hold on let me zoom out a bit.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a Nintendo Switch game that came out in 2019. For about two years it consumed me. I put HUNDREDS of hours into it. Deep within those hundreds of hours, there are conversations that some of the characters have with each other. One of these characters, Annette, sings in a few of these conversations. My friend and I thought it would be funny to re-imagine these songs as, well, actual songs. I think "Creepity Creep" and "Big Boom" actually came out pretty well. Because I didn't write the words or melodies, I consider these covers. Amazingly, it's not the only time I covered a song from a video game, but that's for much later in the year.
